Little Thoughts About This Time of the Year

{the last time I made a snowman my oldest son was a year old...that was 17 years ago...}

I'm sitting here drinking my must have cup of coffee while I blog and began thinking about little things that are making me happy at this moment.  I want to thank my readers who have been with me for the full two years and to all of you who are new to Chic Coastal Living.  I feel that my blog is an extension of my life that fulfills many things for me in regards to design and inspiration. Making friends was an added bonus and a big blessing! I wouldn't dream of going a day of blogging without visiting some of my favorite sites and reading the sweet comments on each of my posts. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

God bless you & Merry Christmas
With Love,

{it is the night of our dear Savior's birth...}

Hamptons Style Home...

This gorgeous five bedroom home is located in Rosedale, one of Toronto's most prestigious neighborhoods. I was drawn to the millwork that was used throughout the home and decided that I needed to save this casa on my blog for future reference! I'm about to buy a rug for my room  makeover and this one would be perfect for the space that I'm working on. I also love the navy blue and white pillows and exquisite pottery...definitely gets me excited about the warmer months ahead of me! I'd love to hear your thoughts about this Hamptons style home...

Peek Inside Guiliana and Bill Rancic's New LA Home

Wow! Was I a happy camper to see a peek inside Guiliana and Bill Rancic's new LA home today. It's no surprise to me that their home is elegant and lovely.  I could see right from the start of their marriage that they had excellent taste! I love so many things that they incorporated into this chic home! It's so exciting to see such great style on a Monday! The photos are courtesy of The Style Network.

 Would you agree that this porch is perfection! Definitely a chic coastal living look!

 Nautical baby room! Love the octopus artwork and the port hole mirror!

Paddle boards, nautical knot and lamp base! Cute!

Perfect white kitchen! ...and the table looks like it's from Williams Sonoma Home or Restoration Hardware.

P.S. I decided to change the the ability for anonymous readers to leave comments.  My spam box was getting way out of control and honestly it's been very nice to not have my mailbox filled to the rim with junk emails. I apologize for the inconvenience this will be to my legit anonymous readers.  I will be looking into how I can avoid the spam. If any of you know what I can do, please let me know. Thank you!
